( LIKES ) : He likes excelling and is very satisfied with personal achievement; he has a tendency to believe that success can only be measured by its rewards. Manipulative - As one of his most useful traits, Draco uses his masterful powers of manipulation very frequently for both selfish and unselfish purposes. ( HAIR ) : Short, fine,whitish blond hair, that is easy to manage. It's straight and will pretty much fall naturally into place, but regardless, he wears it in a traditional, clean cut style. He's always appreciated how low matinence his hair is and in general really likes it.
( EYES ) : He has hard, stone-like almond eyes that have coloring similar to a raincloud, with a faint bluish hue.
( FACIAL STRUCTURE ) : a long face with a slightly pointed chin and straight nose.
( BODY STRUCTURE ) : He's notably tall (around 6'2''), which is accented by his excellent posture, and slender (175 lbs), despite the fact that he's gained a bit of weight back since the war (where he lost quite a bit due to stress).
( ATTIRE ) : He likes nice clothes and generally wears a lot of classic blacks, whites, and greys.
( SUMMARY ) : With the trademark fair features of a Malfoy, he has a very bright look; because of his general paleness, shadows have a very profound effect on his appearance and he likes to wear dark colors for this very purpose; his eyes appear darker because of the contrast, especially when shadowed, and his face, especially his mouth (he has a vast arsenal of different smiles) can be highly expressive even without conscious effort. Narcissa and Lucius have always had a good marraige. With the same core values and world views, and their adoration of their only son, they clash on very little. They had very high expectations, and were fairly strict but both were very doting parents. Draco was, and still is, close to both of them. From time to time he and his father find themself at odds, but nothing so severe as the ruin the foundation of the relationship.

( HISTORY ) : One of the oldest and wealthiest remaining pure blood families and it is noted that one of his ancestors, Brutus Malfoy, was a popular anti-muggle editor. They are closely interwined with the Black family by marraige, but are related to other pureblood families such as the Lestranges, Rosiers, and the Greengrasses. The family is a very long line of Slytherins who are known for their clear distain for muggles and other non-wizard races. Draco was raised to value and uphold blood purity. His father was very out spoken on the matter while his mother silently supported him with a quiet, but fierce agreement. Always, however, always, it was expected that he share their mentality. His parents loved to spoil their son, so Draco was able to get away with much as a kid, except, however, even the slightest deviation from his family's views on blood purity. Questions on the view were highly discouraged and whenever he posed them, his parents grew angry until he withdrew his question and then they both liked to pretend he had never asked it. There was only one person in his family he could get to justify the doubts he felt from time to time when he was young. His aunt Bellatrix. He never liked his aunt, with her wicked, flighty temper and delight in pain (regardless of whose it was), and when he was young he even found her a bit frightening, but she was always too eager to answer his questions plainly. It was well worth enduring his strange aunt's demented rage at his treaterous doubts in order to recieve from her a rationale that appeased him. But, as he grew older, he was able to answer his own questions upon reflection. He and his family were in strong support of Voldemort during both of the wizarding wars, but he, his mother and father were pardoned for there apparent change of sides during the Battle of Hogwarts and none of them were incarcerated thereafter. However, in the after math of a few defining choices, there's a lot of figuring out that needs to be done. Forced to revisit every doubt he had long since supressed, Draco found himself thoroughly derailed after the war. He was even uncertain about how freely he could speak of the delimma with his parents. He soon discovered, he could afford to be more candid with his mother than his father, but in general, avoided the subject altogether. His father in particular seemed desperate to not speak of it and Draco usually didn't mind accomadating that wish. Having to admit that his family, he himself, may have been wrong about their support of Voldemort was horrifying to him. Although, secretly he feared that they were wrong about far more than that... He was confronted with the complex personal challenge of deciding what is right, wrong, pride, fear, or obstinance.

Zion watched carefully, fascinated by the display. She was never opposed to theatrical displays for a bit of flare and style, and besides, she thought this demonstration was meant for more than stylistic purposes. Her eyes were glued as she tried to catch each shift in the muscles as they reworked and reknotted themselves and the vague path of the pliable bones that bent and stretched into place. It was amazing. Her mind bubbled with questions. Would they have to understand each intricacy of the change? Or focus on one main idea? Would it take time to learn to change so quickly? Were some animals more difficult to learn than others?

But she shoved her curiosities aside for the moment as the professor started to speak and ask them the first question of the class. It wasn't like her to jump and volunteer an answer. She preferred to keep both her ignorance and knowledge private and learn and grow in secret. She liked to assess the other students—her competition—not be assessed. But she noted the silence and glanced around. No one was responding, whether because they did not know or because they were still distracted by the impressive display. She didn't feel like wasting class time waiting for an answer or lack thereof, so without raising her hand or waiting to be called on, she spoke with her regular speaking volume, "An animagus, as the board points out, can turn into a specific animal at will, while a werewolf transforms into a creature bearing strong similarities to a wolf, regardless of their will under very specific circumstances—once a month under the full moon."
