Running can clear the mind and heart, but how far does one have to run before they know if they are running for answers or just simply running from the answers they really knew all along?

Since the battle and the death tolls were steep and long. The loss of life affected many who walked the halls of Hogwarts. Angelina Johnson lost many friends, respected acquaintances, and a former lover in Fred Weasley. Grief comes in many forms, and Angelina’s hit her hard and unexpectedly. Just about the same time she received an owl from a European Quidditch team interested in her play. She hadn’t ever thought of playing professionally, nor leave England all together, but she found that staying in the rut she found herself in after the war was not healthy. She needed her own time to heal, forget, and move on, and that was exactly what she tried to do. Apparating days before Fred’s memorial service Angelina was gone, leaving her friends more hurt, confused, and bitter in the process.

Now two years later she’s coming home. Having sustained a career ending injury Angelina has had no choice but to move home and re-evaluate her life. She has lost the one thing she had to hold onto after the war in Quidditch and is now facing the consequences to her actions. Old friendships are instantly tested as old friends Katie Bell and Alicia Spinnet no longer want anything to do with the girl who left without a word those years before. They find Angelina’s resurfacing to be another one of her tricks. They don’t know if they ever really knew the real Angelina and want to protect those like George who may end up being hurt twice by her. People like Ron Wealsey find it despicable that she would even consider coming back and possibly messing up the little progress they had made with George as George, Fred, and Angelina were quite close before. Others like Lee Jordan, who has always had a thing for Angelina understand why she left and offer up a kind shoulder to lean on.

Angelina is not looking for understanding, she is looking to right the wrongs she had done to those many people, especially George. She has been running for so long she doesn’t quite know how to stop. Her emotions are finally catching up with her in a big way.
